Abstract: Aiming at the problems of high energy consumption and large processing capacity in the traditional full roasting process of low-grade siliceous rock type vanadium ore,a combined process of high-pressure roller mill pre-enrichment-blank roasting-acid leaching was proposed. The amount of tail⁃ ings can be removed by 47.80% through high pressure roller mill-screening pre-enrichment,which greatly reduces the amount of subsequent roasting. The comparison test of raw ore and pre-enrichment concentrate shows that pre-enrichment does not increase the vanadium leaching rate, and its core value is to reduce energy consumption and production cost. The optimum process conditions are pre-enrichment to obtain va⁃ nadium concentrate with V2O5 grade of 1.22% and recovery of 81.18%. The vanadium concentrate was roasted at 860 ℃ for 24 h,and the roasted product was leached at room temperature(30 ℃),liquid-solid ratio of 2 mL/g,acid dosage of 6%,and leaching time of 2 h. The leaching rate of vanadium was 88.99%. The use of quasi-suspended layered thin-layer roasting to improve the heating uniformity of the material can provide a technical reference for industrial amplification.
