Abstract: In order to ensure the efficient utilization and quality control of mineral resources in open�pit metal mines，the core issues such as the construction of quality control system，the control of key links and the application of standard samples in chemical inspection and analysis are systematically studied.The basic content and management function of chemical inspection and analysis are summarized. The frame⁃ work and implementation path of quality control system are analyzed. The influencing factors and control measures of the key links of inspection and analysis are emphatically discussed. The selection and prepara⁃ tion of standard samples and their role in improving the accuracy of results are deeply studied. At the same time，the effectiveness of existing control measures is verified by typical mine practice cases，and the ef⁃ fectiveness data of existing quality control measures in practical application are obtained.The practice re⁃ sults show that the chemical inspection and analysis work of open-pit metal mines needs to improve the lev⁃ el of inspection and analysis by optimizing the quality control system and strengthening the control of key links. The development direction of quality control of chemical inspection and analysis in the future is put forward，which can provide theoretical support and practical guidance for other mines.
