Abstract: Under the condition of extremely broken roof, the active support of roadway often faces problems such as anchorage failure, large deformation of roadway and roof caving. When the passive sup⁃ port of shed type is adopted, there are phenomena such as uneven stress between unit support and roof, complex moving frame and easy local caving during mining. Taking the material roadway of 220101 work⁃ ing face in Xinji No.2 Mine as the research object, through theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and field experiment,it is revealed that the traditional shed support has problems such as uneven transmission of support force and failure of advance support, and the system is optimized. The roadway support system under the condition of extremely broken roof is proposed, and the combined active support technology of “grouting reinforcement + bolt + grouting anchor cable”is proposed. Through the grouting reinforcement of the roof with inorganic double-liquid quick-setting material to strengthen the integrity of the roof, com⁃ bined with the roof bolt and hollow grouting anchor cable,a cooperative bearing structure can be formed. Through theoretical calculation and numerical simulation,it is verified that the support design scheme meets the requirements of mining support. The field application results show that the roof subsidence is re⁃ duced by 16.9%,the tunneling rate of the roadway is improved, and the cost of roadway support and man⁃ agement is reduced by 14.3%. This technology realizes the large deformation control and roof management of the mining roadway in the working face, and provides a theoretical basis and engineering demonstration for roadway support under similar geological conditions.
