Abstract: In order to solve the problems existing in the production of a concentrator of Shougang， such as serious blockage of circular vibrating screen mesh，low working efficiency of crushing and grinding equipment，and poor effect of dry magnetic separation of magnetic drum，the process flow is reformed. Through transformation，the existing screening equipment is dismantled，and a double-layer banana screen is added for wet screening. The -3 mm material by the wet screening under the sieve is treated separately for wet pre-magnetic separation，and the material in the - 12 + 3 mm intermediate grade by the screening is transported to the original process by belt conveyor.After the transformation，the loss of magnetic iron in the production line is reduced by 10 700 tons per year，the iron powder with total iron grade of 66.50% is in⁃ creased by 16 000 tons per year，the total profit of the enterprise is increased by 10.538 3 million yuan/a， and the net profit is increased by 7.903 7 million yuan/a. The economic benefit of the technical transforma⁃ tion is remarkable.
