The large arearoof hanging at the end of the fully mechanized mining face will not only lead to abnormal mine pressure and serious air leakage in the working face,but also increase the leakage of harm⁃ ful gases in the goaf,which will bring hidden dangers to the safety of the mining face.Taking the treatment of hard roof end of fully mechanized mining face in a mine as the engineering background,aiming at the prob⁃ lems of large hanging area of roof plate at the end and significant influence of mining pressure on adjacent mining face mining roadway,based on the concept of roof fracturing weakening and hydraulic fracturing roof cutting,the layout scheme of hydraulic fracturing boreholes in combination with the roof strata of working face is put forward,The engineering application shows that when the fully mechanized mining face is mined in the hydraulic fracturing area,the end top plate can collapse in time with the mining face mining,and the adjacent roadway is basically not affected by the mining face mining,the end weakening technology can achieve better results.
