The occurrence,seepage migration , acidity and alkalinity of groundwater in the mining ar⁃ ea have an important impact on geotechnical properties,engineering structure,and safety and stability of slope strata. It is a very reliable method to use high-density electrical method for exploration without destroy⁃ ing and affecting the original structure of the stratum.According to the engineering example,the technical principle of high density electrical prospecting and the later data processing,inference and interpretation are sorted out.The method has high precision and convenient construction,and can quickly and intuitively divide the stratum structure and delineate the underground water-bearing structure.Through the analysis of the results of high-density electrical prospecting,the water yield of the two engineering boreholes laid out meets the engineering design requirements,which provides reliable geophysical data support for the next en⁃ gineering mining and groundwater use in the area.
