Abstract: Tieshan Mine is an iron mine from open-pit to underground mining. The main mining method used in the design is the stage chamber subsequent filling method of vertical deep hole caving. The local thin ore body and the corner ore segmented by rock intrusion will produce high rock mixing，which is extremely unreasonable in economy. For the corner mine above-100 m level，the mining method is first se⁃ lected to determine the upward back cut-fill method. Then the structural parameters are tested to determine the optimal mining scheme. Practice shows that the scheme has achieved good results and is worth popular⁃ izing in the same type of mines.
