Abstract: In order to improve the production efficiency and reduce the production cost from the opti⁃ mization of beneficiation process，based on the process mineralogy characteristics of vanadium-titanium magnetite in Baima mining area of Panzhihua，the coarse tailings discarding of raw ore，the comparison of classification effects of various methods of primary grinding，the embedded tailings discarding process of secondary grinding classification system，the grinding efficiency of secondary and tertiary mills were stud⁃ ied. A new beneficiation process flow for vanadium-titanium magnetite in Baima mining area was pro⁃ posed，and the feasibility of the new process flow was analyzed and discussed. It is concluded that through the process transformation，the purpose of further improving the production efficiency and reducing the cost of the concentrator is achieved，which can provide useful reference for other similar mines.
