Abstract: According to the problem of the gas content over limit frequently in the upper corner of the U type ventilation in the underground mine and seriously restricted the safety and efficiency of coal production,Through FLUENT simulation,the gas distribution in the minedout area under the condition of fully mechanized mining in Mabao Coal Industry was obtained,and the gas flow field distribution rule in the minedout area was studied.Combined with onsite experimental investigation,the guiding gas migration rule in the fully mechanized minedout area and reasonable buried pipe parameters in the minedout area were obtained.
