Abstract: A large goaf has been formed in the mine due to the long times of the open field stoping,which brings safety hazard to the mine safety production.Aiming at this problem,this paper analyzes and studies the mining method of ore body under the empty area by considering the occurrence of ore body,the technicaleconomic conditions of mining and the characteristics of empty area and provides two mining schemes:Open field backfill method and backfilling and upward horizontal slicing and filling methods.Considering the actual situation of the mine,Open field backfill method is better.However the situation of the empty area of the mine is not optimistic,it is necessary to fill the empty area in time.
