Abstract: Pangpangta Mine 5107 as an island fully mechanized caving face,mining is very difficult.How to recover resources safely and maximally is a problem that needs to be solved.For this problem,Pangpangta Coal Mine has carried out special coal pillar setting technology research.Through the strength test of surrounding rock,the size of coal pillar is determined by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation,which meets the requirements of mining,and more than 220 000 t of coal resources are recovered.
