Abstract: With the end of underground deep infrastructure in Tongshankou Copper Mine,there are hidden dangers of safety accidents in tunnel prospecting and the quality of geological sampling can not be guaranteed.In order to speed up the production of prospecting,give full play to the advantages of inpit drilling,make up for the shortage of tunnel prospecting,three inpit drills have been purchased for prospecting.The results show that the drilling in the pit has the advantages of flexible operation and maneuverability,easy to master,shorten the production prospecting time,save the prospecting cost and the safety of the operation site,and maintains the dynamic balance of the third grade ore quantity,and ensures the sustainable production by using the application of the main orebody production prospecting and the surrounding literacy and storage increase,the pointed out orebody exploration edge mapping,the sporadic small orebody pursuit,the advance water exploration,and the guidance of roadway heading direction,etc.,which shortens the production prospecting time,saves the prospecting cost and the safety of the operation site,and maintains the dynamic balance of the tertiary ore quantity.Steady production and development.
