Abstract: In open-pit mining, accidents occur frequently and have serious consequences, bringing a great threat to works and property safety. As a result, for mining enterprises not only increases the cost of production and delays the production schedules.Combined with engineering example, this article aims to study the exploitation phase which is prone to accidents, meanwhile, based on the theory of fuzzy hierarchy analysis, this article will analysis on the affect factors of safety work in the mining stage, which uses MATLAB software to calculate,to assess the risk of the open pit in the mining stage. Finally the risk assessment system will be established. The results can provide important reference for the safe mining of open mines.
